NSW Cross Country RelaysDespite the previous wet weather cancellation, ANSW managed to deliver the perfect event. A fantastic day for all ages, and the ideal hit-out for our juniors ahead of All Schools Cross Country. We turned up with 22 teams and came away with 9 Gold and 5 Silver Medals.Possibly the most inclusive event on the calendar, with our juniors performing brilliantly before staying on to support our Open and Masters teams.A special shout out to Gemma Jenkins, Katie St Lawrence, Sophie Chudley, Taj Ramtel, Clem Finlayson, Macie McDermott and Megan Ripper for their enormous contributions to our club yesterday.Congratulations to UTS Norths, who ended our five-year reign in the Open Women's relay with a superb performance across all four legs. We put up an almighty fight, recording 8 of the 15 fastest women's 4km relay legs of the day, but they were too strong today. Thanks to everyone at Athletics NSW, all the officials, volunteers, our fellow clubs, and all of our athletes and families for turning up in full force with the perfect balance of spirit and competitiveness.πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡U20 Women16/17 Boys14/15 Girls14/15 Boys13 Girls11/12 Girls11/12 Boys40-49 Women40-49 MenπŸ₯ˆπŸ₯ˆπŸ₯ˆπŸ₯ˆπŸ₯ˆOpen WomenU20 Men16/17 Girls9 Girls14/15 Boys ...
